Celebrating Spring in Downtown
So lovely are the flowers and sweet scents of spring! So thankful are we to have an opportunity to gather the community to celebrate its richness. Richmond Main Street has set its sights on bringing you a spring (and summer) full of events and activities that can help you stay healthy, get fit, enjoy the exceptional talent of our local artists and performers, support our downtown businesses, and discover our community partners. We hope you’ll help us Celebrate Downtown…
Healthy Village is Back!
In partnership with the West County HEAL collaborative, Richmond Main Street will again offer this fun-filled event in the Community Green Space park every 1st Friday, May – August from 12-2pm.
Join us on Friday, June 1st to celebrate a summer of free community events filled with fun activities for the entire family with Healthy Village Farm Stand. Sample healthy treats courtesy of Liberty Ship Cafe, take away farm-fresh produce, and receive information on living a healthier lifestyle. Visit with local vendors and our community partners to learn about their programs and activities, and support small entrepreneurs. Plus, free pony rides for kids!
Music on the Main is Coming!
We hear you loud and clear: you can’t wait to put on your dancing shoes for Music on the Main! Neither can we! Last year you told us you love the blues—especially home grown blues—so…
By popular demand, we are kicking off downtown’s signature summer music series with the world renowned Jesse James on June 27.
The musical excellence will continue throughout the summer with a variety of great bands, including Gospel greats Consonance on July 25 and the absolutely fantastic RPAL youth ensemble Originalz. This is just a taste of the must-see entertainment and activities at this year’s Music on the Main. Stay tuned for more details and come on down to main street every 4th Wednesday of month, from June – August to check it out for yourself!
